Floresville is the Model Trail Community located at the new relaunching point of the El Camino Real, a National Historical Trail connecting Mexico to Louisiana. Historically, the trail served Native Americans, colonists, and explorers. Today, the trail will serve as a connection point for the local community and historians.
Because of the changing circumstance of the trail, this project envisions a base infrastructure that new program can be added to or removed from over time. A ramp system connects the trail to the roof level, winding through programs to create a new experience parallel to the trail.
